形態特徵

• Rhizomatous perennials.
• ligule truncate, margin short ciliolate, leaf blade short petiolate, petioles 1-1.5 cm long.
• Panicle contracted, 15-22 cm long. Female spikelets: lower glume 1-nerved, 1 mm long; upper glume 3-nerved, 1.6 mm long; lemma membranaceous, 4.6 mm long, turbinate-pyriform, clothed in minute hooked hairs and elevated striate lines; palea linear, 1.5 mm long, 2-nerved. Male spikelets: 2 glumes subequal, 1.5 mm long, 1-nerved; lemma ovate, 2.3 mm long, 7-nerved; palea lanceolate, 2-nerved, 2.4 mm long; stamens 6.
• The type and only specimen ever collected was found in 1958. The original collection site has been eradicated by deforestation and urbanization.

• 台灣 : southern Taiwan.
